Sarajane McKinnon Classical and Jazz Teacher

Sarajane has been professionally employed in the dance/entertainment industry for over 28 years. Her love of dance started at the ripe old age of 2 and has continued to grow.

She completed her ballet training with the esteemed Prudence Bowen, gaining her ARAD and has gone on to teach ballet, jazz and musical theatre at some of the best schools in Sydney.

Sarajane worked as a professional dancer for over 20 years, touring Australia and overseas, performing in theatres, clubs, cruise ships and Television  work. She was also the Team Leader/Choreographer/Dance Captain for Wonderland Sydney for 4 years.

Since retiring from professional performances she has enjoyed stepping into the musical theatre world, performing lead roles in Bye Bye Birdie, Sweet Charity, The Boy From Oz and A Chorus line.
Her love for classical ballet has never diminished and whilst enjoying a professional career as a commercial dancer she has never stopped teaching what she loves, with her students gaining outstanding results in both the Grades and Vocational exams. Sarajane is thrilled to be part of The Conlan College!
